We The People are well accustomed to those who live in this rarefied territory defined by federalized convention, its political subdivisions, and the buffering areas of its coastal waters, the border areas inside the 500-yard to 50-mile zone of its borders, the exigencies of its bluff and imaginary – reality!
No less personages than that famous duo who sprang from the brow of Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra, El Illustre Hidalgo Don Quixote de la Mancha and his Squire, Sancho Panza, have spoken at length in song and story of it desired properties, its concepts, its traditions.
It is the place where We The People agree to disagree, go along to get along, live together with either mutual respect, or utter disdain and perilous disharmony.
It is what it is, La Frontera; ONE MAY FIND IT – EVERYWHERE!
Its geographic shapes determine the quality of life; the utter shape of the territorial imperative of what will be will be, dictated by a choice of three. Pick one.
There are islands, peninsulas, and continents.

“This is a peninsula,” said our interlocutor, K.C. Massey, Outlaw, one day this week, from his seat on the front porch of the battery shop on Hwy. 276 in West Tawakoni.

In the release of this official material, Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct Executive Director Seana Willing noted:
“Article 5, Section 1-a (10), Texas Constitution, provides that ‘[a]ll papers filed with and proceedings before the Commission or a Master shall be confidential, unless otherwise provided by law…’ Section 33.032, Tex. Gov’t Code, authorizes the Commission to release information previously held in confidence only in those instances where it has issued a public sanction or has instituted formal proceedings.'”

This action was supported by an equal number of sworn statements by peace officers, the defendants, and their husbands and lovers.
As such, it is a program of the players, their names, numbers, pedigrees, batting averages and hits, runs and errors, supported by oath or affirmation.
It is a Bible of sorts, the Rosetta Stone of a human drama, a brief compendium characterized by the mathematic precision of Heisenberg’s Principle of Indeterminacy, in which the “out law” community of Hawk Cove and Waco Bay on Lake Tawakoni broke bad and bowed up to The Man during the high tide of a chemical sea change one might be tempted to think of as the Crystal Wars of Hunt County, T-E-X-A-S.
That is, the time when one nation state attempted to exert its political will on that of another political subdivision, a municipal corporation, with all its resultant legends and happenings.
They still talk about it tody, and what with the release of the full facts and the circulation of the story in all its gory details – unpredictability wafting on the whispering winds of the cyber world – the story wends its way on a thickening plot of – well – information, that is, public information, regarding the question: Whatever happened to…?
